The kids were saints this morning. We’re attributing that to the expert babysitting they received from Grammie & Papa last night. From Karen:

I walk into Jonah’s room this morning.  Nobody has come into our room since they got up.  Eliza is on the red chair reading super hero books.  Jonah is on the bed getting his Jeremy corduroys and his superman t-shirt on layered on top of his brown waffle long sleeve shirt.

E: “Mommy, do you want to see my room?”

me–sure

E-“Look at the chair!”

me–oh, all the animals are there.  They look very happy

E-“Yeah, they are having shabbat!”
